Ann Fehr, CPA CGA

Ann Fehr is the founder of Fehr & Associates, a public accounting firm since 2010.  In addition to tax and audit experience, she has several years of senior management and consulting experience.  She has worked in management since receiving her professional designation in 1996.  During her career she also spent several years providing senior level accounting services to publicly traded companies and currently holds CFO positions in several. As such, Ann is specially qualified to assist with senior management level problem solving and support the CFO/controller functions of a company.

The majority of Ann’s senior management and board governance experience is in the real estate and mining industries, as well as through volunteer work. She has also worked extensively with tax and year end accounting and is highly capable and uniquely trained to assist with business planning, budgeting and financing matters.

Xavier Wenzel, CPA CA

Xavier Wenzel began his career in public practice in 1996. Xavier has extensive experience in public companies, including mining and resource companies and is a US GAAP specialist. He enjoys debating accounting technical issues and can provide you with consulting assistance for your interim regulatory reporting. In addition, Xavier has extensive experience in audit and tax compliance so he can also assist small business clients with tax and general business support.

Xavier is originally from Mexico and fluent in Spanish. Outside of work Xavier enjoys running, swimming and participating in his local church. However, the time spent with his wife and son is what he values most.

Eli Dusenbury, CPA CA

Eli Dusenbury is a member of the F&A team who primarily works on complex technical issues and US GAAP based projects. Most recently Eli worked as an audit manager at Anton & Chai, LLP a US public practice firm specializing in SEC filers. Prior to Anton & Chai, LLP, Eli was a senior accountant at Smythe Ratcliffe LLP. He began articling at Smythe Ratcliffe LLP in 2009 and successfully passed the Uniform Final Evaluation (UFE) in 2011 obtaining his CA designation shortly thereafter.

Eli has 6 years of public accounting experience providing assurance services to both public and private sector clients reporting in Canada and the US over a broad range of industries including but not limited to: technology, agriculture, engineering, mining & exploration, manufacturing and processing and financing.

With working experiences in both Canada and the US over a wide range of public and private companies Eli has gained in-depth understanding of business operations, control environments and strategic business decision-making, which provide a unique balance between both operational and accounting perspectives to resolve complex technical accounting, reporting and auditing issues.

Julia Stone, CPA

Julia Stone is a Bachelor of Business Administration graduate with a major in Accounting and a diploma in Finance.  She successfully completed the CPA Common Final Examination (CFE) in May, 2016.

Originally from Victoria, BC, she joined Fehr & Associates in February, 2014 with over four years of office management and bookkeeping experience within the environmental and retail industries.  Julia, a senior associate at the firm, focuses primarily in tax compliance and small business support.

Nimisha Parekh, BBA

Nimisha Parekh is a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) graduate with a major in accounting and human resources management from Simon Fraser University along with a certificate in liberal arts. She is currently working towards her CPA designation.

Nimisha previously worked at a large accounting firm as a tax associate preparing cross border Canadian and U.S. personal tax returns.  Nimisha joined Fehr & Associates in April 2016 where she takes on the bookkeeping role for junior mining companies and small businesses.

Shinji Terakawa

Shinji Terakawa is a graduate from BCIT and will begin working toward his CPA designation in 2018. Shinji joined the Fehr & Associates team in September, 2017 and can help you with bookkeeping and administration.


In addition to the core team, F&A may also hire part time professionals to assist on designated projects. Inquire about joining the F & A team.
