Ann Fehr received her CGA designation in 1996 and is the founder and principal of Fehr & Associates, a registered accounting practice, since 2010. She has several years’ experience in senior management and consulting. During her career she also spent time providing senior level accounting services to publicly traded companies and currently holds part time CFO positions in Lithiumbank Resources Corp. and Dolly Varden Silver Corporation. 

The majority of Ann’s senior management and board governance experience comes from work in the mining and real estate industries, as well as through volunteer work. She has also worked extensively with tax and year end accounting for small businesses and high net worth individuals. Her experience includes six years working part time in the financial services industry, over fourteen years working for accounting/consulting firms and over eight years in the real estate development industry. 

Ann is available to provide management consulting services and can help you with your regulatory reporting requirements, including financial reporting. As a seasoned manager, she can also assist with special projects, internal controls, HR and implementing change.

Xavier Wenzel began his career in public practice in 1996. As a principal at Fehr & Associates, a registered accounting practice, and a member of The Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia, Xavier has considerable audit and tax expertise, as well as extensive experience with financial and regulatory reporting for public companies under IFRS and US GAAP. Xavier has provided consulting services as an advisor on complex technical accounting issues. Xavier has spent several years providing senior level accounting services for publicly traded companies and currently holds CFO positions for Chakana Copper Corp and Empress Royalty Corp.  Formerly he was also the CFO for Ely Gold Royalties Inc. and Guanajuato Silver Corp. (formerly Vangold Mining Corp).

Xavier is originally from Mexico and fluent in Spanish. Outside of work Xavier enjoys running, swimming and participating in his local church. However, the time spent with his wife and son is what he values most.

Julia Stone is a Bachelor of Business Administration graduate with a major in accounting and a diploma in Finance. She successfully received her CPA designation in 2016. The majority of her work relates to tax compliance for corporations and HNW individuals.

She joined Fehr & Associates in February 2014 and has extensive experience within the mining industry. Julia, a senior associate at the firm, has experience with both public and private companies but focuses primarily in tax compliance and small business support.

Juciane Gomes is a highly accomplished professional with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, two post-graduate degrees in Finance from renowned Brazilian institutions, an MBA in Administration from Farleigh Dickinson University in Canada, and ongoing studies towards becoming a CPA. 

With 16 years of experience in a prominent corporation, Juciane excels in financial planning and analysis, preparing internal reports for executive leadership and providing invaluable support for decision-making. Her expertise, dedication, and comprehensive understanding of financial management have solidified her reputation as a trusted and successful professional in her field.  

At Fehr & Associates she primarily assists public companies with regulatory reporting and is available to hold part time contract CFO positions.

Calvin received his CPA designation in 2018. Calvin has considerable audit and internal control documentation expertise, as well as extensive experience with financial, IPO and regulatory reporting for public companies under IFRS. He worked as an auditor at a Big 4 accounting firm and has considerable experience in auditing international companies. He also worked as an auditor of international public mining companies and is able to support mining companies with their financial reporting, internal control documentation and technical accounting needs.  While he is able to assist with individual and corporate tax returns, he is usually helping clients with financial and regulatory reporting under IFRS.

Calvin is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.  Outside work he enjoys spending time with his family.

Maribel achieved a CPA designation in Peru and is currently working toward a CPA designation in Canada.  She has worked under IFRS for international companies and can assist you with book-keeping as well as your financial reporting requirements.

Molly joined Fehr & Associates in 2022, leveraging two years of experience as a junior accountant and accounts payable clerk. Holding a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from UBC and currently enrolled in the CPA training program, she specializes in accounts payable and intermediate accounting. 

Molly’s strong analytical skills and commitment to professional growth make her a valuable asset to the team. Fluent in Mandarin and English.

Born in Moscow, Russia, Yulia McCutcheon graduated from Ball State University in Indiana, USA with a BA degree in Accounting. After graduation, she worked at PriceWaterhouseCoopers’ offices in Moscow, Boston and New York City specializing in corporate tax. She left PriceWaterhouseCoopers to pursue further education, completing a Master’s Degree in International Affairs from the New School University in New York, USA.  Yulia does Corporate Secretary work for various clients.

Natasa has a business and project management degree from Serbia.  She is the office manager but also helps clients with payroll and other ad hoc projects. Natasa is an excellent problem solver.

Pam has over 10 years of experience in public accounting and industry. She has a master’s in accounting and is currently studying to be a CPA. Pam can assist your accounting team with full-cycle accounting and financial reporting working papers.
